Chaos Walking is set to hit theatres (don't be surprised if a Digital release is announced soon) on March 5, and Lionsgate has now sent us over a series of character posters spotlighting the heroes and villains of the long-delayed sci-fi adventure.

The banners spotlight leads Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley, along with supporting players Cynthia Erivo, David Oyelowo, Nick Jonas, and Mad Mikkelsen.

Based on Patrick Ness' best-selling dystopian novel The Knife of Never Letting Go, Chaos Walking follows Todd (Holland) and Viola (Ridley) as they traverse a dangerous world in which all living creatures can hear each other's thoughts in a stream of images, words, and sounds called "Noise".

Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman helmed the adaptation from a script by Charlie Kaufman (Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind) and Jamie Linden (Money Monster).

In the not too distant future, Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland) discovers Viola (Daisy Ridley), a mysterious girl who crash lands on his planet, where all the women have disappeared and the men are afflicted by “the Noise” – a force that puts all their thoughts on display. In this dangerous landscape, Viola’s life is threatened – and as Todd vows to protect her, he will have to discover his own inner power and unlock the planet’s dark secrets.

Production on this one actually wrapped back in 2017, but reshoots (believed to have been overseen by The Girl in the Spider's Web director Fede Álvarez) were required, and Holland and Ridley's commitments to their respective franchises resulted in a lengthy delay.

Do you guys plan on Checking out Chaos Walking next month?

“I Need A New Kitchen: The Movie”

Movie looks more and more bland with each reveal.

Not gonna watch because it's got Daisy Ridley in it and it looks bad. It's not Daisy fault,it's just when I see her I think of The Palpatine Trilogy and the hatred just flows through me.

@marvel72 - Perhaps you should just put that in the past and move on?

@Waddles - She's going to get more beautiful as she gets older. But then, I tend to prefer older-looking women. I'm so old; she practically looks like a teenager.

@MUTO123 - Thanks for posting this.

I wonder where the series/story is supposed take place at?

On a serious note, the MCU is just show NO signs of slowing down! This is awesome. It's more than I had ever hoped for.

Just dump this on netflix or some other streaming service. It was going to flop either way, pandemic or no pandemic.

"Forget everything you know."

Uh-huh. Sure. I'll forget how to walk, talk (including my language), eat, take a dump without shitting all over my legs, and many other necessities. Or is this a line for one or more of the characters in the film?

Of course, the line isn't meant to be taken literally (at least I hope not), but almost every time I hear/see it in a film, the person saying it never explains exactly "what" needs to be forgotten.

And in some situations, it "really" needed to be explained.

Or, in some cases, the phrase sounds totally unnecessary and I'm guessing is only used because the writer(s) thought it sounded cool (like when Mystique tells her new trainees to "forget everything you know"). She didn't explain what the F she was talking about. I'm guessing she didn't mean they should forget how to use their powers. LOL.

Anyway, it is a seriously on over-used line.

I hope it is used very well in this film. Or maybe it is only used on the poster (which would be weird).

Looks like most of you read the books by Patrick Ness... The Knife of Never Letting Go, The Ask and the Answer, and Monsters of Men...or maybe not. I still need to start Monsters of Men, but I'm 93 chapters into Patrick Rothfuss, The Wise Man's Fear. I'll see the film, just not in the theater. Treating Covid patients has put a damper on doing anything outside my cave.

The fact that Tom hasn't promoted this movie at all and deleted all the pictures related this movie on his Instagram tells me all I need to know how bad this movie is.....
