A newly released poster for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor puts the spotlight on the returning Cas Kestis and BD-1, while a recent Steam leak has seemingly confirmed when we can look forward to playing the game!

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor picks up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Cal must stay one step ahead of the Empire's constant pursuit as he continues to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy.

If the newly released poster (via SFFGazette.com) is any indication, the franchise's lead hero has clearly been through a lot since we last saw him. With the sequel set roughly ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, its story should line up with Obi-Wan Kenobi, meaning we could see some big crossovers and a greater exploration of that particular era.

If nothing else, we're certainly hoping for some answers about the Jedi we saw trapped in an amber-like substance in Fortress Inquisitorius!

While time will tell on that front, this poster comes with the news that Jedi: Survivor's latest trailer will drop during this Thursday's Game Awards. We've been hearing rumblings that might be the case for some time now, and the expectation is a release date will also be officially announced.

However, a recent leak on Steam has may have confirmed that the sequel will arrive in stores on March 15! That's accompanied by details on the pre-order bonuses fans can look forward to.

Developed by the veteran team at Respawn Entertainment, Jedi: Survivor will expand upon iconic Star Wars stories, worlds, and characters, and thrilling combat first experienced in Jedi: Fallen Order.

Jedi: Survivor is being built for the current generation of gaming hardware to create a deeper and more expansive Star Wars experience for players worldwide when the game launches next year.

Take a closer look at the poster below, along with those big leaks, and be sure to check SFFGazette.com (or GameFragger.com) for that trailer later this week!

I really enjoyed the first game. Hopefully this one makes its way to the PC quickly enough.

@MrDandy - Well, this was leaked by Steam, so you can probably expect that the date coincides with the PC drop date.

This was moreso a "leak" than a leak. The Game awards is a glorified trailer marathon, nobody gives af who the committee picks, that's not the point. Please don't suck

I wished his main lightsaber was orange, it'd make him unique. Plus, he's ginger so it'd match.

@Urubrodi - I'm sure you'll be able to change his lightsaber hilt and color loke the first one.

@CorndogBurglar - I know that, I played with the orange one, just meant lore wise, it'd be cool if he had some unique thing about him.

@Urubrodi - Oh, gotcha. Yeah I agree. It feels like most jedi have blue sabers in things. It gets a little annoying. I used green in my game. I think that's the best looking color.

I'm hoping for some urban settings this time. I love the tomb raider maps, and I want them to return, but having a cyberpunk city to explore would be cool.

@Fares - gritty underbelly of Coruscant escaping thieves and gangsters would be cool
