With just over a week to go until Star Wars: The Last Jedi blasts into theatres, a very cool new international poster for the the next instalment of the iconic space-saga has made its way online.

This time we get a new look at Daisy Ridley's Rey, lightsaber in hand as she cuts an imposing figure on the island of Ahch-To.

In addition, we have some photos from the recent red carpet event in Tokyo, which was attended by director Rian Johnson, and stars Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Adam Driver (Kylo Ren).

The review embargo for The Last Jedi lifts this Saturday, but social media reactions will be allowed as soon as the world premiere finishes up on Friday so be sure to keep an eye out.

She better be ready and Luke better get in on some of that action.

I dunno what it is, but while I really liked Daisy Ridley's perfomance in TFA, I began to find her character annoying as months passed by and every image/trailer featuring her did nothing to change that feeling. I hope the movie is great and that they don't taint Luke. I have faith in you, Rian Johnson.

When does the embargo lift? I forget when TFA did, I assume it will be the same?

@Menks123 - If it lifts the same day TFA's embargo did, then probably at either SUPER late Tuesday or SUPER early Wednesday.

Curious: why do you always call them ASIAN posters ‚international‘?!
