I really like how they're promoting this movie,it looks like you're getting one type of movie then it changes to a giant monster flick.

@DeusExSponge - Yeah, I suspect we'll see nothing from Cloverfield. Somehow, they'll pass it as if the generic action was going on at the same time as Cloverfield. Cashgrab. Anyone thinking otherwise will be here complaining March 11th.

Abrams hates and misunderstands preppers so badly that he had to make a movie about it.

This is his "Red State". What this has to do with Cloverfield is anyone's guess.

I know this started out as a different movie and has been done filming for a year or two, then got bought and turned into this. But its kind of stupid to say this has nothing to do with Cloverfield.

I mean JJ has said its "the blood relative to Cloverfield."

Its got Cloverfield in the friggin title.

You can clearly hear Clover roaring at the end of that trailer.

It may not be the sequel everyone is lookng for, but to say it will have nothing to do with Cloverfield is just idiotic.
