While James Gray's mysterious sci-fi space epic Ad Astra won't be out in theaters until September, Walt Disney Studios and 20th Century Fox have already started the film's marketing campaign, and earlier today, the studios debuted an intense new international poster with Academy Award-winning star Brad Pitt (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) looking straight into our souls as he travels where no man has gone before. 

The film will follow Roy McBride (Pitt), an astronaut who traverses the solar system in a bid to find his long lost father (Tommy Lee Jones), while simultaneously uncovering the shocking truth behind the failure of his dad's initial mission, which, according to the trailer, involved searching for extraterrestrial life. 

In addition to Pitt, the cast features Tommy Lee Jones (Captain America: The First Avenger), Ruth Negga (Preacher), Liv Tyler (The Incredible Hulk), Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games), Jamie Kennedy (Scream), John Finn (The Walking Dead), Kimberly Elise (Death Wish), Bobby Nish (ER), LisaGay Hamilton (Vice), and John Ortiz (Bumblebee).
