Hide. 20th Century Fox has released a new poster for Alien: Covenant in advance of a brand new trailer debuting tomorrow, March 1st.

The one-sheet is yet another callback to director Ridley Scott's original sci-fi chiller, giving us another foreboding look at one of the unhatched face-hugger eggs, which will soon burst open and begin the new cycle of terror aboard the Covenant.

The studio has also announced that the movie will hit cinemas in the UK and Ireland at the slightly earlier date of May 12.

“Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the ‘synthetic’ David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.”

Alien: Covenant stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Demien Bichir and Danny McBride, and is set to hit theaters on August 4, 2017.

Can't wait! I am part of the half that loved Prometheus so I'm stoked for more into this world while mixing elements from Alien into it.
