Latest ALIEN: COVENANT Poster Asks Us To Choose The Instrument Of Our Destruction: Will It Be AI Or Alien?

The tagline of this new international poster for Alien: Covenant reads "What will be the end of mankind?", offering us the choice between sinister android Walter (Michael Fassbender), and the proto-Xenomorph that's come to be known as a Neomorph.

Some spoilers for the film made it very clear that Walter (and presumably his Prometheus predecessor, David) will pose as much of a threat to the crew of the Covenant as the eyeless bastards of the title, so it'll be very interesting to see how it all plays out - and who will be left standing at the end.

Alien: Covenant Korean poster

“Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the ‘synthetic’ David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.”

Alien: Covenant stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Demien Bichir and Danny McBride, and is set to hit theaters on August 4, 2017.

What's with this poster and the poster before it? The ones before these two were awesome and actually looked good.

Given Walter and David are not mentioned in the other movies (other than Prometheus) we know they fail.

Given Weyland Industries were still after the Xenomorphs in the original trilogy, we know the Aliens dont reach Earth.

So yeah... joys of being a prequel. Only question is whether any of the redshirt-esque characters survive the movie - and even if they do it wont matter because there is no sequel planned to this because they combined the planned second and third parts of the Prometheus trilogy.
