An ENORMOUS Undertaking for TROLLHUNTER Director Andre Ovredal

Andre Ovredal, the director of TROLLHUNTER, and producer Adrian Askarieh have announced their plans to adapt the comic ENORMOUS. Initially a graphic novel released by IMAGE comics, ENORMOUS told the story of a world where an ecological event has created gigantic monsters that have devastated the planet. An 18 issue sequel is coming soon from 21 Ink Publishing.

Speaking with the Hollywood Reporter, Ovredal and Askarieh revealed their plans for the adaptation were appropriately large in scale. They include a high-end digital Web series, a TV show and a feature film.

The duo also said that were shooting for a tone for the project that was akin to the film CLOVERFIELD.

I have, in my life, on occasion chosen to... well, lets call it, "self-medicate."
And on SOME of those occasions I, unfortunately, not actually being a, you know, DOCTOR as such... did, inadvertently, perhaps sometimes OVER self-medicate...
And on some of THOSE occasions, I was watching movies when I did so.
The result are that there are 3 - 5 movies that I know I have seen, which I am 100% positive my eyeballs beheld from beginning to end, but which I have next to no memory of, whatsoever.
One of those films, is TROLLHUNTER.
