Usually when a show pushes past reasonable expectations to almost absurdity it ruins the rest of the show. Known as "Jumping the Shark" for Happy Days Fonzie literally jumping a shark.
For me, Fringe started to get good when it "Jumped the Shark" and Incorporated an alternate universe. Kudos! Can't wait to see what weirdness this season has in store.
