According to Deadline, actor Bill Pullman of Hollywood fame (Spaceballs, Casper, Independence Day) will be joining the cast of Torchwood: The New World.
He is apparently set to play the lead role of Oswald Jones, a character who is
"dangerously clever, a psychotic, convicted murderer and paedophile. He escapes his lifelong prison sentence on a technicality and quickly becomes a media sensation."
Expect to see him on screen mid-2011, alongside John Barrowman, Eve Myles, Mekhi Phifer, Arlene Tur, and Kai Owen.
