We recently gout our first glimpse of some footage from Bill & Ted Face the Music courtesy of a brief, but very effective teaser trailer, and now we have a new look at titular duo Ted "Theodore" Logan (Keanu Reeves) and Bill S. Preston Esq. (Alex Winter) on the cover of a new tie-in book.

Bill & Ted's Most Excellent Movie Book: The Official Companion is set to hit stores this August, and is now available to pre-order on Amazon. The hardcover book will serve as a companion to all three movies and features hundreds of photographs, script excerpts and quotes. A must-have for fans of this bodacious trilogy.

Check out the artwork below along with the teaser, and let us know if you're looking forward to more excellent adventures with Bill and Ted in the comments.

"Bill & Ted Face the Music will see the duo long past their days as time-traveling teenagers and now weighed down by middle age and the responsibilities of family. They’ve written thousands of tunes, but they have yet to write a good one, much less the greatest song ever written. With the fabric of time and space tearing around them, a visitor from the future warns our heroes that only their song can save life as we know it. Out of luck and fresh out of inspiration, Bill and Ted set out on a time travel adventure to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe as we know it. Together with the aid of their daughters, a new crop of historical figures, and some sympathetic music legends, they find much, much more than just a song."

Bill & Ted Face The Music is set to hit theaters later this year (we hope).

Goddamn, they are OLD.
When will Hollowood finally realize that the constant attempts to cash in on "nostalgia" almost always results in depression and failure?
It's truly sad seeing an 80 year old Harrison Ford pretending to be a young man, and seeing these guys pushing 60 pretending to be youthful is the same kind of cringe imo.

@Feralwookiee - I gotta agree somewhat - it rarely works. Even as I get older I don’t enjoy watching older actors try and recapture the magic of past roles.

I think Stallone did it best with The Expendables - kind of paying homage to past action flicks and heroes without actually reprising roles (which he has done over and over with arguable success.)

And the there’s this guy, who just keeps getting better:

@Feralwookiee - I'm not scared. I'll see it. It's a movie with a time traveling telephone booth. It was filmed 500 yards from my home at Sunsplash and the Fiesta Mall. The Circle K scene was 500 yards from my work in AZ. Just suspend reality for 2 hours. Keanu was 25 playing a 17-18 year old in 1989. Now he's 56 playing a 40 year old father stuck in the 90's.

@ElJefe - Stallone was incredible in Rocky Balboa (2006) and Creed (2015). He should have gotten that Oscar for BSA in Creed.

@GeneralZod - you’re damn right he should’ve gotten an Oscar for Creed!

@WakandaTech - that taskmaster is definitely Rachel Weisz, its 100% a woman. Look at where theyve padded he suit out to hide it, around the neck, those big belt pouches around the waist. You can see from the way her waist and upper body move there. Its a woman.

I hope they explain the gender swapping. I am pretty sure but I may be wrong that Bill and Ted had boys in the future, I think they refer to them as little bill and little Ted.
