Guess no one smokes in this film. Deakins could do wonders with that.

After seeing the teaser and first trailer, I'm going to try my hardest to avoid all other promos and go in as fresh as possible.
First BR is my favorite movie of all time. I hope this one can live up to the legacy.

@Tonic24k - Yeah bro Johann Johannson and Denis Villeneuve is my favorite composer/director pairing after Hans Zimmer and Chris Nolan.
You heard the soundtracks to Arrival and Sicario? Holy shit they are crazy.

The only thing that makes it a little difficult for me to re-watch the original BLADE RUNNER is the knowledge that Sean Young became a wacko.

I've tried watching the original Blade Runner four times in my life, the last of which wasn't even a year ago. It has got to be one of the most dull, boring films I've ever sat through and for the life of me, I cannot understand why it's so exalted or praised.

I never wanted a sequel to Blade Runner, so I was unhappy when they announced there'd be one after all. But... by now I do believe this could actually be good. The creative team behind it, the cast, the look and feel (and sound) - it all seems to work for me so far. Right now it's higher on my anticipation ranking than The Last Jedi.

Only thing that's slightly bothering me atm is -weirdly enough- Harrison Ford himself. I kind of would've liked this to be about Deckard, but I'm not quite convinced it needed actual Old Man Deckard as the second lead. But of course I haven't watched the movie, so it might well work out for the best.

I'll avoid further trailers etc, so I guess I'll know if this is actually worthy of the title when it hits theaters.

I'm probably the only one who thoroughly dislikes the first Blade Runner. So having the second one directed by Denis Villeneuve is actually something I welcome with open arms.
