During only its second weekend of release, Interstellar has already passed the $300 million mark with a global total of $321.9 million, $224.1 million of which comes from overseas. The Christopher Nolan helmed science fiction epic has opened in just about every single international territory, with a $42 million haul from China since debuting on Wednesday. That marks a new record for Nolan in the country, and only Japan has yet to see Interstellar as of right now. IMAX is without a doubt the best way to see the movie, something which perhaps explains the impressive $50 million its earned on the giant size screens across the world! Have you seen the movie?
