Variety Disney is on the hunt for some big tentpole pictures that can be turned into franchises, and Landis' project fits the mold. Variety describes the film as an "emotional journey of a brother and sister as they undertake an epic adventure."
Landis is the son of legendary producer John Landis. He has made a name for himself in Hollywood with 20th Century Fox's
Chronicle, and an untitled Frankenstein project that will be produced by John Davis.
