In an interview with Collider, producer Neil Moritz sheds some light on the upcoming remake of the sci-fi classic.

The first thing is that Colin Farrell will lead the cast. Also, the remake will keep much closer to the Philip K. Dick story, We Can remember It for You Wholesale then the original. " The big difference is we don’t go to space,” Moritz says. He goes on to hint at the "big twist" in the movie,“Instead of it being a spaceship that takes us to another planet, there’s something that takes us from one side of the planet to another that’s really interesting.”

1) This movie does not need to be remade.

2) If this is another take on the story rather than a remake, call it something else, not Total Recall.

3) The movie was more entertaining than the story, so why make a movie more like the story?

On another note, you know what movie could use a remake? They Live.

I don't know about this....

So...They ran out of ORIGINAL Ideas so they either steal them or do a bunch of remakes.

Does nobody have an original idea for a movie script? This is a classic and does not need remaking.

I hate remakes 80% of the time. Colin Farrell can climb back into a hole.

Ill finish my book and present it as a movie idea(after book sells anyways) I have an original idea, we can save the world if we have one original idea a day.

Collin Farrell can lick my bum hole!! He suck as an actor, in the cast interviews for daredevil he said he saw the opportunity to make it very campy and cheesy and he was having fun with that aspect of the character.
