Entertainment Weekly have debuted a poster for Abrams' new sci-fi tv series starring Karl Urban (Star Trek) and Michael Ealy (2 Fast 2 Furious), the pilot of which will screen next Wednesday at SDCC. Check it out after the jump.

Almost Human is a high-tech, high-stakes action drama set 35 years in the future, when police officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. An unlikely partnership is forged when a part-machine cop (Urban) is forced to pair with a part-human robot (Ealy) as they fight crime and investigate a deeper cover-up in a futuristic new world.

Abrams shows are usually good, But I don't trust Fox at all. They killed off Firefly, Dollhouse, and even cancelled Fringe earlier then it should.

Oh Abrams is only an Executive Producer...not as excited anymore.

But this is an interesting premise nonetheless.

@Firgosaurus But the thing is though, when you get into these shows, and they get good ratings, FOX will decide to move that one show to a Friday...the one day where most of your target demographic isn't sitting on the couch watching TV.

Speaking of ears...how come ear wax is the color orange?
Of all the colors,why orange? I must know!

Perhaps orange isn't as common in nature as others so ear wax became orange by default.
I may never know but I will watch this show & hope it explains the color mystery of ear wax.
