The Martian releases early this October, and 20th Century Fox has been going full steam ahead with the film's marketing. Now, in this new minute long clip, check out Rich Purcell (Donald Glover) pitch a rescue mission for Mark Watney (Matt Damon)!
This October, Andy Weir's Sci-Fi novel The Martian will be making its big screen debut. The film, which centers on a NASA Astronaut, Mark Watney, who gets stranded on Mars following a mission to the Red Planet, has some big names involved, such as Matt Damon and Kristen Wiig, the latter of which stars in a brand new minute long clip alongside Donald Glover.
The clip which measures in at one minute and fifteen seconds, features Rich Purcell (Donald Glover), pitching a rescue mission to save Mark Watney (Matt Damon) from the Red Planet. Using a stapler as spacecraft Hermes, NASA Director Teddy Sanders (Jeff Daniels) as Earth, a pen as a resupply probe, and NASA Spokeswoman Annie Montrose (Kristen Wiig) as Mars, Purcell highlights his plan which, according to his math, "checks out".
