Scottish actor Dougray Scott was spotted yesterday on the set location where Doctor Who season seven is being filmed. According to The Daily Mail, there's specualtion that he would be making a cameo in the new season.

Filming for Doctor Who season seven is still happening, and actress Jenna-Louise Coleman (Captain America: The First Avenger), who's was announced as the new Doctor's companion three months ago, has recently started shooting with the cast. She was spotted filming her first scenes with Matt Smith yesterday in Port Talbot, Wales.

Nobody knows for sure anything about her character, but this week, there was a rumour that her name would be Clara. The actress joins the cast as a replacement for Karen Gillan, who has been playing Amy Pond for the last two seasons.

'I have an idea of the story, of the character and of a few surprises, but I don’t know her name or where she’s from. I just told Steven [Moffat] and [producer] Caroline Skinner, "Don’t tell me anything until I need to know it".'

The story penned by Neil Cross apparently will be historical, and set in the Victorian-era.

Steven Moffat ruined Doctor Who

I was digging the whole "magical" vibe at first. The show needed a lift after the departure of RTD and David Tennant but it has seriously gone down hill fast.
I like Matt Smith's portrayal of the Doctor and even the current companions have their moments. What I can't take is the whole "just believe in yourself" fix to every problem. Moffat has exhausted the time paradox plot device and has turned the Doctor into Willy Wonka. I want to see a return to good sci-fi plots. The only time Moffat shines is when he does a horror/suspense-based episode.

I've enjoyed what Stephen Moffat has done with Doctor Who. I'm sure if you view the Russell T Davie stories, you probably could find some recurring plot devices as well. There are very few television writers that don't.

WHo is SO much better with moffat then RTD

The best eccelston and tennant stories were written by moffat.

Rtd was a hack who wrote childrens stories with horribly acted villians example love and monsters or the runaway bride had farting and burping aliens, it was terrible

And he half assed his stories oh the doctor was beaten by the master chant his name hel get powers WHAT?! !!?!

atleast moffat writes long story arcs and more dark less childish crap

3,4,10,11 are the best doctors tennant into smith is brilliant the way jon to tom was then
