Former Daredevil showrunner Steven S. DeKnight's Pacific Rim sequel is beginning to round out its cast. Following the announcement that Jing Tian has joined the production, Deadline reports that Adria Arjona has also signed on for some monsters vs. robots action. No details on her character, but it's a safe bet she'll be suiting up with John Boyega as a jaeger pilot.
Arjona has appeared in the likes of True Detective, Narcos and Person of Interest, and she's also set to star in NBC's upcoming retelling of The Wizard of Oz, Emerald City.
Pacific Rim 2 (while may be subtitled "Maelstrom") will also star Scott Eastwood and Cailee Spaeny, and is set to hit theaters on February 23, 2018.
