First Predators Set Pic

I thought it was going to be a jungle setting again. Weren't they supposed to be filming in Hawaii?

There hasn't been a single decent Predator movie since Predator and Alien movie since Aliens, despite all the potential in the world. The chosen actors, writers and directors have managed to get all subsequent movies completely wrong. Here's hoping this one bucks that trend, but I've given up on expecting much out of these movies anymore.

Hopefully they don't go back down to the peak of the sh*t-o-meter like they did with AVP: Requiem. God, I still have nightmares about the awful day I decided to rent that garbage.

Hey, it's got Danny Trejo, so at least we'll get a mustachioed bad-ass with some type of machete in it, right? ;)

Don't BS us lol, ALIEN 3 sucked wayyyy beyond more than [frick]ing AVP, that was a cool movie, the second one was kinda sh1t though lol!

I’m a huge fan of the Predator movies, I hate AVP1 because of pis-poor continuity and how the predators looked like slow fat bobble head slobs not to mention how stupid they were.

AVP2 I like because the predator was the most kickass to date. They had the music, the sounds, he was fast, slim, agile and right on the money. Not to mention he wasn’t a dumbass like the ones on AVP who let the dam thing on the ship (they would have know if he had an aliean inside him) Think predator 2 when he saw that the chick was pregnant.

I like the change of visual direction and the casting of this movie. It’s a different story in a different setting and not just P1 with a different set of Big guys. That formula should not be used again.

The actors are good which should fix one of the problems that AVP2 had.

I don’t like that 3 predators are hunting these people. One should be enough. It makes them seem less bad ass. Obviously 2 die, And the “Badass” one ends up fighting at the hero only to get killed. Im sick of the Predators always dying, It means that they can be beaten and aren’t really a threat. We know what’s going to happen and it kills the suspense. I say that in this movie that ALL of the humans die. And the predator lives. I mean we should technically be no match for these things. And while it is an honor for them to die it’s not their goal.

We’ll see if they can pulloff the whole habit thing… That might be a little bit of a stretch.

Have any of you guys seen Narin’s Predator sculpts… Look them up. They’re awesome and they should use his designs for the new Preds. So they don’t like the Fat Football players from AVP

This is actually encouraging, and I agree with you about Alien 3. I dug it. Brody is gonna be fine. He was dope in The Jacket, and that sounds like the same premise soldier wise.

Ror01 - on a side note, LOST final season starts February 2nd here in the states... which is coincidentally, Groundhog's Day! I wonder if that was planned. Here's to the start of something new... just like the old.

im sorry but what is lost about haven't watched it. when it first came out thought it had dino's in it cause they freaked out at sounds in the jungle but never caught my fancy.
