Entertainment Weekly's new issue features some new details on The Hunger Games two-part finale, Mockingjay. Director Francis Lawrence sheds some light on the state of Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence (X-Men: First Class), explaining her reluctant rise towards rebel leader. "It's a very confusing, conflicted, complicated time for Katniss. She's distraught, confused, angry." He won't reveal where Part 1 and Part 2 splits the original novel, but the director states the audience will see more of the complicated President Coin, played by Julianne Moore, than in the source. EW also debuted a new still of the fan-favourite heroine -- Francis Lawrence says it displays "the warrior version of her mockingjay look," with the iconic emblem swapped from bright gold to black on black. Katniss will be kitted out with new arrows and gadgets Jeffrey Wright's Beetee, but she is, much like the viewer, "hit with the harsh reality of the consequences of war." The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 hits theatres this November.
