just realized the only other time I've posted was for the first movie prize posting. Apparently I only peruse the comments section and watch the flame wars instead of participate in them.

Does anyone actually win these things? I feel like I'm just "liking" in vein.

I actually prefer DC to Marvel, character-wise. I've always been a fan of the more "superhero" as opposed to "real world" take. At lest when I started into comics 20+ years ago when I was in college. I always liked Spidey too. Both companies told stories I liked. I read both pretty frequently. Right now DC is beating Marvel in animation. Marvel is beating DC in movies based on volume and continuity. DC is beating Marvel in comics stories and product overall. I know Disney is part of the House of Mouse and will have more thrown behind it through TV and such that I am excited to see, but that hasn't equated into the actual comics like I had hoped for. Instead of Marvel stabilizing, they seem to be less structured and more haphazard in their approach. For me as a casual reader, it's not as enjoyable.
