Generations Vs: When Anna Met Diana

Generations Vs: When Anna Met Diana

There's a family reunion on "V" during its second season, with original Visitor Jane Badler (who played Diana) becoming a recurring character as a new Diana, who happens to be the mother of Anna (Morena Baccarin). Needless to say, this won't be a warm and fuzzy family reunion.

In an interview with TV Guide, Badler explains, ""From the moment I heard 'V' was coming back, it was something I was hoping to be part of, but they tested a lot of people for this role, A lot of years have passed, so it feels good to win something." As to her portrayal of the character, she says, "I'm still the way I've always been — lots of hair and eyes. A bit Raquel Welch-ish."

When Diana is revealed, audiences will see that she is being held prisoner in a part of the Visitor mothership that has been designed to look like the Vs' home planet. Unsurprisingly, she's been imprisoned by Anna (remember, she's the same woman who ordered the legs of her daughter, Lisa (Laura Vandervoort) to be broken to make a point).

Laughs Badler, "I'm the queen in exile, locked away in a dungeon for 15 years. It's mother abuse!"

"V" is supposed to return to the ABC schedule in November.

Loved the original series.

Hope this season's better than the first, no offence to the die-hard fans but for me it was a little weak and the green screen ship scenes were an insult to viewers.

Cool.

Personally I like the new one. It's not great or anything but it's still fun to watch.

With Lost gone I am scratching for anything decent to watch lol
