Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 will film together as a single large production released a year a part
"It's in progress right now. There is a lot of writing, there is a lot of a designing and a lot of tech work that we are going to do. What I can tell you is that our plan right now is to make Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 together as a single large production released a year a part. In order to do that, we have to refine our technical process beyond the end of where we were when we were finishing Avatar, so we are taking our time now. Partially because going through the process, even though we refined that process as we went along, there were certain things that we would have had to go full stop to be able to improve and upgrade and we are in that process now.
This is what he said about the resurrection of Sigourney Weaver

"Who said she died? Nobody dies in a science-fiction movie. Whether Grace lives or dies depends probably more on Sigourney's agent than anything."

So what do you think of this should they bring Grace back?

I fail to see how Sigourney Weaver is eye-candy, I think she should stay dead.

Stay dead, sicking tired of seeing all these ressurections, sorry the 3d was cool, but the story is just your average Sci-Fi Pocahontas.

Im just wondering how many other plots did the first one borrow from ? Like 3 or 4 movies right. Amazing plot my white @&&. The second movie will borrow from inception, TDK, The incredible hulk and the Bourne ultimatum this equals..... Y. Inception is a thousand times better then frikin avatar. Camerons like I have the greatest movies ever like my butt and then Nolan is like is this guy for real I mean really.

Avatar was intended to be passable as an experiment with the 3D technology which I think is hokey but the other 2 can be very good. Cameron brought a lot of science, mind you a loaded Wikipedia page of it, and if he can build off of the first it would be phenomenal.

i liked avatar, its just the director i think is a greedy prick.

but yeah bring on avatar 2 & 3,they're the only two films that are going to break avatars box office record.

i don't think batman 3 or the avengers are even gonna come close.

i'd like to be prove wrong, but i can't see it.

Avatar is an awesome movie and i cant wait for more , i still think that no other movie out there looks as fantastic on my plasma as avatar . I dont think the others will do as good at the box office because now people can watch it in 3d at home , where when avatar came out they couldnt .
