The building window view looks like Godzilla 2014 vs Godzilla 1998.

yeah, that MUTO is crazy cool looking, they probably wanted those lame insect things so they wouldn't compete with Zilla...

maybe with that MUTO Godzilla wouldn't have forgotten that he has atomic breath.

That alternate MUTO looks a lot like Orga from Godzilla 2000. I actually would have preferred that look to the one we got. I've never been a fan of Godzilla fighting giant bugs except maybe for Mothra. And true, you can't necessarily say theses creatures were insects but they looked more insect-like than anything else. Now it was clear they were trying to homage Gigan with the uni-eye and the claws and whatnot but - I dunnow. The monster battle (what little we got) was awesome though. I hope in the sequel we get something with a bit more bite. We don't necessarily need a Toho monster either (though that would be cool) just something more reptile or dragon like I guess.

That first design for the MUTO's is sick. Woulda been a cooler chocie for sure, but they made the right decision when it came to the cocoons. Godzilla was awesome as well ; although I wised that his eyes were bigger and having shaper teeth

These MUTOs look so much cooler than the ones we got. They looked like giant alien bugs in the movie.
