Last week's official synopsis revealed that post-credits stinger at the end of Kong: Skull Island wasn't just a tease for potential future MonsterVerse films, but was actually a direct tease for the 2019 sequel, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which will further establish the world and ultimately lead into the 2020 mega-crossover Godzilla vs. Kong.
Earlier this afternoon, director Mike Dougherty took to Twitter to share a section of the call sheet for his currently filming Godzilla sequel and while the first name on the sheet was no surprise, the latter three (King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan) are the ones that should get you shaking in your boots with excitement as it suggests much larger roles for the three villains of the piece. Check it out below:

The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
