WaterTower Music has officially revealed the full track list for Bear McCreary's upcoming original motion picture soundtrack for Mike Dougherty's highly-anticipated Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

WaterTower Music (via Film Music Reporter) has released the full track list for Bear McCreary's upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters - Original Motion Pictures Soundtrack. The album will contain twenty-six original compositions and is slated to be released on May 24, one week ahead of the film's theatrical release.. 

The Primetime Emmy Award-winning composer is best known for his work on Constantine (TV), Da Vinci's Demons, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Outlander, Happy Death Day, and 10 Cloverfield Lane

Additionally, two tracks have been released to preview. The first track is Serj Tankian's cover of Blue Öyster Cult's classic Godzilla song, featuring original music from McCreary, and track number #9, "Old Rivals"

Following the global success of “Godzilla” and “Kong: Skull Island” comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. The cover of the Blue Oyster Cult song is AWESOME. The Japanese drums and chanting really adds a nice epic touch to it

Why oh why would you use some inferior cover of Blue Oyster Cult's Godzilla and not use the real thing??? The 98 Godzilla made this mistake, and now this franchise is making the same mistake?? Seriously? There are some songs that you don't replace. It would be like if the original Iron Man had ended with someone covering Black Sabbath's iconic song. You don't make these mistakes. And yet here we are.
