GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS Trailer Pits Godzilla Against King Ghidorah And It's Unbelievably Epic

Following the success of Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures is set to release the next chapter in its MonsterVerse: Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Directed by Michael Dougherty, the sequel stars Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson, and a number of others. Very little has been revealed about the story and this trailer doesn't really shed a whole lot of light on it either; instead, we just learn that humans will be stuck in the middle as Titans go to war!

As you can see here, Godzilla collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species - thought to be mere myths - rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

One thing which is clear, though, is that Godzilla is not going to be our pet...we're his!

It's an epic new look at the movie and you're best off watching it for yourselves as there are some truly epic scenes here. Are you excited for Godzilla: King of the Monsters? Sound off below.

I’m not a fan of all of the smoke and darkness. Hopefully Kong vs. Godzilla will be in daylight again, just like Skull Island was.

Kudos to Black Panther, btw, for scoring 12 Critic’s Choice Award nominations... the second highest amount of any film this year.
