Warner Bros. Home Entertainment today announced that they will release their Jordan Vogt-Roberts-directed MonsterVerse film Kong: Skull Island on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD on July 18, which will be preceded by a Digital HD release on June 20.
Skull Island proved to be a pretty solid performer this past March, earning its box office hit status as it raked in just over $565 million worldwide on a $185 million production budget, which, thanks to a strong international performance, topped the $529 million haul of its 2014 sister movie Godzilla.
The film is already available to pre-order on Amazon and on Best Buy, where it is available in an exclusive Steelbook edition.
