In just a few short weeks, Legendary will launch the epic second chapter in their burgeoning MonsterVerse with Jordan Vogt-Roberts' Kong: Skull Island, a film that should firmly re-establish King Kong as one of cinema's greatest monsters.
In other news, it appears as though Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) will not reprise her role as Mason Weaver in 2020's Godzilla vs. Kong. On the recent press tour for her upcoming film, she shared the news with Nuke The Fridge with a simple "No, I"m not" when asked about her potential involvement. This probably shouldn't come as a huge surprise as Skull Island takes place in 1973 and the crossover movie will likely take place in present day.
