Kate Mara Joins The Cast Of Wally Pfister's TRANSCENDENCE
House Of Cards' Kate Mara is the latest addition to the impressive cast of WB's upcoming sci-fi film Transcendence, which is the directorial debut of The Dark Knight Trilogy cinematographer Wally Pfister.
According to Variety, House Of Cards star Kate Mara is the latest addition to Warner Bros.' anticipated sci-fi film Transcendence. Cinematographer Wally Pfister (The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception) is making his directorial debut with the movie, which stars Johnny Depp, Paul Bettany and Rebecca Hall. Mara's sister, Rooney Mara, was previously up for the female lead (Which eventually went to Hall. Little is known about the film's plot, but it apparently follows three scientists, one of whom (played by Depp) will have his mind uploaded onto a supercomputer. Production is expected to begin sometime in April. Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and Aaron Ryder are on board as executive producers. Transcendence is set to hit theaters April 25th, 2014.
