Saw Mockingjay last night, incredibly disappointing film. Expectations must have been way to high after the last film.

Is a Mockingjay a thing in this fantasy world?

Is it a mocking bird, except like a blue jay? Why not just call it a mocking bird?

Is this franchise any good? My mom wants to watch whatever is out so far on dvd on Thanksgiving and I have zero interest in that.

whiners. the movies feel exactly like the books: first half slow build, second half action. with this one it's just the first half of the book so it's all build. worked for me.y'all're acting like it should work as a standalone, and it shouldn't.

i don't LOVE hunger games so i'm not going to gush and rave about it, but imo if you're a fan of the books this was a pretty flawless adaptation.

I thought this film was phenomenal as a fan It was a perfect adaption of the third book everything flowed great.

The way katniss's becomes broken to a fighter was great, but that ending...........

@WinterAvenger: I saw it last night, and I loved it! I haven't read the books, but I'm hoping to read them before the last one comes out. This song was so perfect in the movie! I have to see the next one now!!!

I saw it last night. I enjoyed it and thought it was a decent adaptation of the first half of the book. The only thing that truly bothered me was Julianne Moore's wig and contacts. They were horrible.
