More Details on the Predators Movie

Finally something more than the "The new movie involves a very intense group of people stranded on a Predator planet discovering unspeakable horrors that are not always from outside their group" crap.

"Cuchillo." That's the name of Danny Trejo's character in "Predators," the sequel Robert Rodriguez is producing with Nimrod Antal in the director's chair (until now his name makes me laugh). This lil' nugget of info and more can be gleaned from "Latino Review"'s video script review they posted today.

They've got all sorts of spoilers and information on the movie from the name of the eight bad-asses to the alien creatures they will face.

Here is a brief synopsis on the movie that contain some cool and somewhat weird details:

The eight people who comprise this varied troupe was kidnapped by the alien hunters. Armed to the teeth, they're forced to defend themselves from predator dogs, predator falcons, a "super" Predator (known as "Black Super Predator") and his buddies.

(Predator falcons? Predator dogs? What the--)

The review also states that there may be still some room for Arnold Schwarzenegger to make a cameo appearance in the movie.

OH, BOY DUTCH WILL BE THERE!!! I hope they don't CGI him like what they did in T4.

Is all this for real? Will Nimrod Antal (lol) and Robert Rodriguez manage to impress us fanboys and other people with their new Predator movie? Will they CGI Arnolds ass again? Only time will tell.

Predator Falcons, Predator Dogs?? Sounds fun, but might be silly. CGI Arnold is an issue, will they have an old Dutch? Anyways, the movie is building up to something good.

WTF? Predator dog? Predator falcon? What about Predator shark or Predator tiger?

Super black Predator? Is that suppose to be PREDATOR BATMAN LOL???

...I like the idea of them taking a bunch of bad-asses to their planet for some fun and games, but that part about Predator dogs and falcons kind of ruined it for me.

I guess I'll just have to wait and see what this nimrod has in store for us...

i agree again. they are trapped on the predator homeworld. its not like the predators should be the only lifeforms on the entire planet. its not silly to think they would have birds, and doglike animals

This really shouldn't be a hard concept to grasp. The predators are a warrior/hunter based culture it looks like and what do modern day hunters and even historical ones have in common? Hunting dogs! And don't forget the ever popular falcons. The super pred could very well be the leader? Greatest warrior? A huge abberation? I think it's interesting to incorporate other alien life forms from their homeworld since the movie is apparently based there. And yea, a CGI arnold would hurt this film.

I can't believe they are going to have one of those "bad ass" manly female characters in the movie. You know she's going to end up being the love interest. I hate that kind of crap in these movies. I'm just not buying the idea that this female is the world's most deadliest sniper or whatever they are going to try and make her out to be.

I'm no sexist btw. I just hate that movie "bad ass" female character cliche that they put in every movie just to appease the male teenagers and those of the femanin persuasion.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I just feels like they are putting a woman in the movie just to have one in the movie. I hate that.

...a female sniper is just not believable IMO. Ripley wasn't a sniper/megatron or whatever before the events of Aliens; that was believable. She was just a scared/mad woman trying to protect her baby from the xenomorph horde. Again, that's believable.

"Bad ass" female sniper with 50 confirmed kills and a body/face like a super model is just plain stupid IMO.

I hope they do CGI arnold for this movie. That would be amazing. CGI'ing actors to they glory days might seem wrong now, and might not be perfect, but imagine when they perfect it. Superhero movies were shit for a long time, now they are amazing and only getting better. Ide love to watch arnold in a hundred new actions movies. They need to get CG actors going :)

i hear what your saying! maybe she doesn't have to be the "best sniper this side of the crab nebula". maybe she'll just be good at what she does??? i don't know, in AvP2, the only human i seemed to care about was the chick that was home on leave from the war in iraq. i didn't even care about her daughter, just her, lol. i thought it was cool to have a chick that was kick ass, but believably so. there are many women a war in iraq, so its very believable to me.

but i do kinda see what your saying about making her a supreme badass, or the best sniper ever. but at the same time, i can say the same thing about giving a title like that to a male.

If the animals have the same facial features i will be dissapointed in R.Rodgirguez's creativity. There isnt a single bird or dog that shares human facial structure.

i wonder if the black predatoer will be hampered by stereo-types, like will it be the first predator to die? will it be the only one that cant snowboard? will there be jokes about it having a big dick?

and am i the only one wanting to see some hot pred-on-pred action?
