Fox Movie Channel has released their "Making a Scene" segment on James Cameron’s upcoming film Avatar.

The ten minute segment takes a look at a scene in the film when Jake Sully and Neytiri fly together on Banshees for the first time. This just happens to be Cameron’s favorite moment in the film.

this movie just does nothing for me. i'm not excited for it in the least bit. the cgi is amazing, sure, but special effects are only part of it.

The real problem with this movie is all the people who are saying "Avatar is going to change movies forever!" or "This is going to be the greatest sci-fi epic of our time!" If Cameron knew what was good for him he'd put a stop to this kind of talk. Its called managing expectations, if people are expecting the greatest movie ever made anything less will be considered a failure.

As much as I would like to join all the people that pick on this movie I can't. It does look fun.

Of course it probably won't live up to the hype but it still looks like fun to me

This movie just looks amazing. James Cameron will kick some ass in december .The flying scene just looks amazing even the motion capture volume where Zoe cries the facial expression looks real on a CGI character though the uncanny valley has been broken by Weta and James Cameron team. I just wish that I will be able to see this movie even if I have to do ask for some money to lend just to purchase this because I dont have any extra money. If you need to borrow money, better keep an eye on your mental health. Money and mental health are connected to one degree or another, and when your income slows or is strained it has a negative effect, and it can even leave you as a patient without means to get the help you need, meaning you'd have the options of either borrowing moneyor leaving bills to go to collections unpaid.
