A couple of new TV promos (one is in French) for Morten Tyldum's Passengers have been released, and feature quite a bit of new footage from the movie. In fact, there are a few shots that might well be a bit SPOILER-Y so be warned.

We also have some photos from star Jennifer Lawrence's new shoot with Vanity Fair, who also conducted an in-depth and very interesting interview with the Academy Award-winning actress, which you can check out HERE.

On a routine journey through space to a new home, two passengers, sleeping in suspended animation, are awakened 90 years too early when their ship malfunctions. As Jim (Chris Pratt) and Aurora (Jennifer Lawrence) face living the rest of their lives on board, with every luxury they could ever ask for, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction… until they discover the ship is in grave danger. With the lives of 5000 sleeping passengers at stake, only Jim and Aurora can save them all.

Passengers hits theaters on December 21.

I can't believe I'm saying it, but... when Marvel gets the X-Men back, she'd make a great choice for the White Queen.

All the things that people hate about her are exactly the things you're supposed to hate about Emma Frost...

@Spock0Clock - [frick] i was about to disagree with u until i read this second comment, but does she need to be British?

@Spock0Clock - I think Emma Frost should be older than lawrence, mid 30s. She should a mature women. I personally dont really care about casting (I can really never place people in certain role.

HOWEVER Emma should be english and sassy/bithcy!!!!!!!!!!!!

If she is say lines like "darling your roots are showing" I would be sorely disapointed.

@hufflepuff69 - Emma Frost seems like she should be British, doesn't she? But she was born in Massachusetts and as far as I know, raised there.

@StormXmen123 - Well, I'm assuming a few years for Marvel to get the X-Men back, so she'll be in her thirties by then.

@Spock0Clock - I personally dont want X-men in the MCU. I think they should be rebooted in FOX (logan seems a fitting end to the old series).

Within the MCU, there is a limited number of films Disney can rease every year. Id say at max they could do 4 films a year. But look at all the characters and solo films they alreay have. If they had the X-men we would likely only see 1 x-men esnemble film every 3 years. And I doubt they would have solo films.

X-men makes sense in it own seperate universe. However they could exist in different universes, allowing for cross over films. For example, x-men vs avengers or one universe is facing a great foe and requires the others help. With both Magik and Dr Strange on each side they could easlily have universe hoping.

As for Emma Frost I assumed she was english. As in the new x-men comic a taxi driver refers to her accent. I know she went to boarding school when she was younger, she may have aquaired the accent there. Or perhaps she simply puts on the accent to appear supperior; which would fit perfectly wiht her character,

@StormXmen123 - Unless it's specifically stated somewhere that her accent is English, it's probably a "Mid-Atlantic accent"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mid-Atlantic_accent

But that's a fairly dated thing nowadays. I think Frost has been portrayed as English in some cartoons (but Wolverine was Australian according to some cartoons, so go figure).

As for the X-Men in the MCU, there was a time I felt similarly (when it seemed for a hot minute like Fox was going to reboot the whole franchise following Days of Future Past and something like Tim Miller's version might become the Fox-verse), but I don't think that's where it's headed anymore. Reynolds cares about Reynolds, not continuity or source fidelity, and Fox has shown to be completely lost in the woods with or without Singer.

It's Feige or bust for me. And I have no interest in multiverse crossover events or something, since the silly logistics of crossing over universes is the one thing a shared universe doesn't have to deal with. Just have the mutants introduced into the world as an extremely rare thing and have Scott explain that no one has heard of the X-Men because "it's easy to stay under the radar with the world's most powerful telepath on your side".
