Last night I went to go see Predators with my dad at midnight, who is also a Alien and Predator fan. I could not describe the excitement of seeing this baby, but on with the review!
The plot is that a mercenary, Royce (Brody, is a among the people who were kidnapped by the alien hunters. But they are also some of the worlds most deadliest killers to. Armed to the teeth, they're forced to defend themselves from predator dogs and new Black Predators.
Nimrod Antal did a great job on this movie. I also liked the fact that they went back to a jungle setting like the 1st movie had and they used some music from the 1st movie. As for the actors, my favorite one was Alice Braga, she nailed her role perfectley. Adrien Brody was good to as Royce, and he gave a good performance. Topher Grace shines in his role as Edwin, who has a darker side to him later in the film. Laurence Fishburne is great to, although like Danny Trejo, he isn't given that much screen time. The rest of the actors were good to including the ones who played the Predators.
Overall, I have nothing bad to say about this movie. I went in with high expectations and those expectations were met. I absolutley loved this movie and will be adding it to my collection when it comes out on DVD.
Fear has been truly reborn!!!
