The BatInTheSun YouTube channel has released the first trailer for a new short film in which the universes of both Power Rangers and Street Fighter collide. The film will be titled, Power Rangers Legacy Wars: Street Fighter Showdown, and feature your favorite Rangers and Street Fighter characters teaming up against the forces of evil.

The story seems to be focused on, much like the mobile game it is based off of, Rita Repulsa corrupting the Morphing Grid after the events of the 2017 movie. This causes Rangers from each generation to be under Rita's control, and it is up to original Green Ranger, Tommy Oliver, to free everyone from her spell.

As Tommy starts freeing Rangers, Rita turns her focus on getting help from alternate realities, thus discovering the Street Fighter universe. Rita will find the remains of M. Bison and resurrect him, causing Tommy to seek out Ryu.

There is no mention on when the short film will be released, but if you have the mobile game you can play as Ryu Ranger now. Check out the trailer below:
