READY PLAYER ONE Final Trailer Is Easily The Best One Yet As Parzival & Art3mis Go Easter Egg Hunting

Ready Player One has been generating quite a bit of good buzz ever since its sensational debut at SXSW earlier this week and as an added bonus, Warner Bros. has now released the third and final trailer for the highly-anticipated Steven Spielberg-directed blockbuster.

The new "Dreamer" trailer is easily the best one yet, showing off a ton of non-spoiler-y new footage - with even more new Easter Eggs - and gives us our best look at the OASIS as Parzival (Tye Sheridan) and Art3mis (Olivia Cooke) join forces to hunt down James Halliday's (Mark Rylance) Easter Egg. Also, if you've read the novel, you may be able to spot more than a few interesting deviations from Ernest Cline's story, which may actually be for the best.

The upcoming adaptation of the popular sci-fi novel stars Tye Sheridan (X-Men: Dark Phoenix), Olivia Cooke (Thoroughbreds), Ben Mendelsohn (Bloodline), Lena Waithe (Master of None), T.J. Miller (Deadpool 2), Philip Zhao, Win Morisaki (Kamen Rider), Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and the Wasp), Simon Pegg (Mission: Impossible - Fallout) and Academy Award-winner Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies).

Watch the epic final trailer below:

The film is set in 2045, with the world on the brink of chaos and collapse. But the people have found salvation in the OASIS, an expansive virtual reality universe created by the brilliant and eccentric James Halliday (Mark Rylance). When Halliday dies, he leaves his immense fortune to the first person to find a digital Easter egg he has hidden somewhere in the OASIS, sparking a contest that grips the entire world. When an unlikely young hero named Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) decides to join the contest, he is hurled into a breakneck, reality-bending treasure hunt through a fantastical universe of mystery, discovery and danger.

Ready Player One features:
Director: Steven Spielberg
Tye Sheridan as Wade Owen Watts/Parzival

I don't think that I've been particularly in to a Spielberg movie since "Saving Private Ryan". I'm still not feeling this one so far, either.

Hopefully it’s as good as people from SXSW have been saying it is

Looks like a great time if you can accept it makes big changes.... (not saying due to spoilers)..ugh, that’s a shame as I found the book incredibly well thought out. But, still worth cashing in a free movie pass.

Hmm. As someone who has read the book, I feel this trailer finally explains the plot in a way that won't confuse people who haven't. In that sense, this is one of the better trailers.

But that last scene in the trailer was so lame...

I'll see this movie, but unless my friends love it, probably not in cinemas.

Sorry but the watermarking on this video is excessive, and not okay.
