From La Femme Nikita and The Professional to The Fifth Element, writer/director Luc Besson has created some of the toughest, most memorable female action heroes in cinematic history. Now, Besson directs Scarlett Johansson in Lucy, an action-thriller that tracks a woman accidentally caught in a dark deal who turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.

Starring Scarlett Johannson, Morgan Freeman and Analeigh Tipton, Luc Besson's Lucy is set to be released on August 8th, 2014 July 25th, 2014.

not as kubrickesque as some have said.
it could easily have been a hal hour sci-fi thriller.
then again it did use some nice 3d animations.

'Under The Skin' was brilliant.

I think it's proof that Sci-Fi isn't dead, although I understand why Ridley Scott said it was. He has a very good point but I think 'Under The Skin' took something we've seen before and made it into a very unique experience.

It was an admirable effort.

I hope I win that copy.

Granted I haven't seen all her movies, but the closest I've come to seeing her being a good actress is the movie HER....where she's just a voice.
