Gosh, are people stupid. they really believe that apes could become smarter and conquer us? another reason why the sciencetists today are a joke. just make sh!t up cause they don't know anything.

@RunDTC

If anyone is stupid it's you. I really hope you just didn't watch the video, that way your just an ignorant moron. But if you actually watched it and got that stupid bit of info, then you really need to go find a tall cliff and contribute to natural selection. Maybe clean up the human gene pool a little bit.

Dr. Robin Lovell-Badge is only expressing concern in insufficient regulation with experimentation on our distant cousins that involves specifically human genetic material. A very useful field of experimentation, for example. We have learned a lot about Down's Syndrome by implanting mice with the linked chromosome(trisomy 21).

He never claims the ridiculous science fiction in this film will take place, the title is misleading, the narrator is just doing what any good news source does, ENHANCE the truth, maybe get a little more views. He clearly even disclaims these reports in the video. As well in his report.

I love morons, please do us a favor and post us a link to your findings and investigations on the genetics at hand. I'm sure they'll be as insightful as Dr Lovell-Badge's.

apes are not our cousins, that's just BS. we did not "evolve" from them. but if we did...why did the evolution stop with us? why haven't humans evolved from what we are now?

I always know an Evolution denier when I see them. -_-

I recommend a book for you. "The greatest show on Earth" by Richard Dawkins.

We did not evolve from the great apes found today, that wouldn't make them cousins would it? We are descendants from common ancestors. Evolution takes place over many years with slight changes. You think you're gonna wake up tomorrow with a third leg? or something ridiculous like that? Also, we haven't stopped evolving, again my last point, when you compare you and and your grandmother there would be no obvious changes. But lets say we compare you with a very old old old OLD ancestor, say a hypothetical australopithecus africanus the evolutionary changes would be very very obvious.

Without science, there would be no internet, motion pictures, or printing presses, which means no comic books either.

wow....Richard Dawkins? really?

if you can, I highly recommend you watch/listen to Richard Dawkins debate John Lennox. maybe it will show you that Richard Dawkins is not nearly as smart as some people think he is.

@Choppaholic26 Dude, Jesus or his dad obviously just created us out of thin air. I mean the reason we do bad things is because a talking snake told a woman to eat a fruit from a tree. That's why we dont like to be naked! Get you facts straight!

Lol @ TMNTDude

I'm aware of that debate, a quite excellent one indeed. How does it show that?? He answers every question he is asked with rational answers, all of them without the needed faith in a deity. Who know's what you're talking about.

I see you're also a fan of edited creationist videos.

Here's the unedited and edited version side by side.

This one's more for comedic purposes.

^^ That was at RunDTC not you TMNTDude.

Also @ RunDTC

If you have anything else on the subject of evolution and are done trying to change the subject, respond and i'll gladly eviscerate whatever points you think you have. If not, then run as fast as you can to your nearest community college and sign up for a biology class, you are in desperate need of one.
