Despite having one of the most ludicrous names on the planet, Mr McNairy seems set to make waves. Deadline report that not only has the actor landed a role in Cogan's Trade alongside Brad Pitt, but that..

He's in contention for a lead in the Ridley Scott-directed Prometheus, and is circling the role of Josh Speed in the Timur Bekmambetov-directed Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, both at Fox.

You guys may remember I posted an article a while back in which McNairy hinted that he might be up for a role in a super hero movie, specifically(according to Total Film anyway) Superman. Guess that's not on the cards at the moment anyway. Personally I hope he goes with Abe Lincoln, I'm looking forward to Prometheus a lot more;)

I agree. A well made vampire movie is hard to come by these days.

Someone should adapt The Tomb of Dracula as the movie.

I would like to see Dracula fighting against the satan himself.:) And vampire hunters Frank Drake (his descendant), Dr. Quincy Harker and Dr. Rachel Van Helsing. Ouh and Satan´s follower´s and his high priest Anton Lupeski.

I will be alright if Scoot he takes a role in either one of these movies. Good actor.
