Following the exceedingly positive reactions from the press screening last night, Paramount has released fifty hi-res stills from Star Trek Beyond along with a cool featurette for the scene-stealing Jaylah!

Judging by last night's early press screening reactions for Paramount PicturesStar Trek Beyond, it surely sounds like Justin Lin and company have hit a home run with the latest installment in the long-running Star Trek franchise. Out of all the new characters introduced, Sofia Boutella's Jaylah, who has been featured quite prominently in the marketing campaign, was almost immediately dubbed a scene-stealer and given a ton of praise for her performance. Earlier today, Paramount released a brand new featurette with Boutella, Lin, producer J.J. Abrams, and writer Simon Pegg offering a bit of insight on what makes Jaylah so special. After stopping off at Starbase Earhart, a remote outpost on the fringes of Federation space, the USS Enterprise, halfway into their five-year mission, is destroyed by a powerful, unstoppable wave of unknown aliens. With the crew stranded on a unknown planet and with no apparent means of rescue, they find themselves in conflict with a new ruthless enemy who has a well-earned hatred of the Federation and what it stands for.

I will give this movie a chance, TBH I never liked the original ST movies / series before until I saw the first of the reboot and then I liked them

By the end of the film we will the the new Enterprise B.
