In Summer 2013, pioneering director J.J. Abrams will deliver an explosive action thriller that takes Star Trek Into Darkness. When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.

With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that big thing that came crashing down probably should've been anchored to the floor somewhere. Just saying

Iron Man would save them.

I hate to sound nit-picky, but if the Enterprise is in space, then how does the gravity keep changing? If the ship's artificial gravity pulls everything to the floor, then it shouldn't matter what aerial acrobatics the ship does.

Now if they where in the atmosphere of a planet that wuld be a different story.

Regardless, I'm still stoked to see this.

While it's not clear from this clip, I'm assuming that the ship is in low orbit of a planet and its artificial gravity and inertial dampners aren't working because otherwise when it spins around surely it shouldn't make a difference to its occupants?! i.e. they shouldn't find themselves walking on the walls and ceiling. Oh! Potential plothole! :P

@supercat The only time I can think of that Scotty ever called Kirk Jim was in the episode Mirror, Mirror when Kirk said he'd stay behind to operate the transporter. It felt very unnatural.

Apparently in the future, OSHA does not inspect star ships!

107 days without a star ship malfunction! Whoops, make that 0 days.....

Why does everyone care about the fact that they used a brewery as a set? I bet about 7 people on this site are old enough (mentally) to even be able to drink in the US, nuch less have "deduced" that set is a brewery.

The matter/anti-matter reaction requires a dense matter called deuterium with the same/opposite atomic weight to create the proper energy release for warp capability, and they are going to need somewhere to store it....... in GIANT KEGS!!!

In TOS you could see several rows of similar structures behind the big grating in the rear of engineering.

All the s#!t they have changed and THIS is worth bitching about? Shatner was right. Get a Life!

Don't forget, Star Trek thought of Google Glasses FIRST! They invented the hypo spray, flip phones, and Google Glasses.
