I must say I have really been enjoying the Shatner/Fisher video war. As far as I can see it's fairly obvious that their arguments as to the merits of their respective Star franchises are more than a little tongue in cheek, even with the occasional barbed digs. And now George Takei, who played Sulu in the original Star Trek series, has followed suit and responded with this video..

Mr Takei, how can we argue with that? Here are the digs he makes at Twilight, which are imo spot on..

"Gone is any sense of heroism, camaraderie or epic battle. In its place we have vampires that sparkle, moan and go to high school. Sci-fi fans be warned, there are no great stories, characters or profound life lessons to be found in Twilight... In Twilight, the only message that rings through loud and clear is: 'Does my boyfriend like me?'"
