Karl Urban truly captured the role of Bones McCoy in a true way. He was one of my favorite characters in the movie behind Kirk and Spock. So what does he have to say about The Trek 2?

Watch his interview at the Spike Scream Awards below:

Urban said “It would be great to have another Star Trek out for 2011.”

He was absolutely amazing as Bones. When he said "Green blooded hobgoblin" I swear I gave birth to pure feelings of amazingness....lol.So so much they can do with these next films...it's so exciting! Would love to see some classic Klingon's battling with Kirk! They should totally have Harry Mudd in one of these movies! Would be hilarious! I can't wait to see more of Kirk on the bridge...some of the best moments ever from TOS with Kirk and his great tactical strategies. Would be spectacular to see with the new cast! I look forward to the next movie!!

Damm! Karl was literally channeling DeForest Kelly in his
"Bones" roll! It was almost creepy! Haven't seen such a
capture of a character's true essence by a different actor
since Val Kilmer Channeled Jim Morison of the Doors!

Dellamorte, that was answered on Enterprise. Since Captain Archer's timeline predates Kirk's, what happened on Enterprise technically still exist in the Star Trek universe.

The show claimed the Klingons were infected by a virus that was causing the mutation. I believe the virus was originally genetically engineered by the Klingons, but things didn't turn out the way they'd planned.

Dellamorte, the problem JJ faces is the fact hardcore fans want the Star Trek universe to be consistent. JJ avoided many problems with his alternate timeline story, but whatever predated the timeline more than likely still exists. I guess they can avoid the altered Klingon storyline just by not showing any of them. The alters were a small number. Of course that means that the new movies can't use Kang or Kor.

Personally, I hope he does overwrite Enterprise's history.

That show was a borefest.
