I figured he was Khan. It seems like a good movie, gonna see it on the 17th so hope it is worth it.

Chris Pine for Best Actor in a Leading Role!
I ean, I was expecting a solid performance from Cumberbatch a Khan, but Pine really pulled it out of his ass in this one. Really subtle, good structure, good character arc. Damn fine performance. Watch this movie again and just watch Pine. He's awesome.
Towards the end, I was thinking that it wasn't epic and operatic enough to be a worthy replacement of Wrath of Khan, but then they ripped the kitchen sink out of it's sockets and threw it right at us! Bam!
Spock's KHHAAANNNN! Just as good as Kirk's. I like how it all mirrored, sen as though this is a mirror universe.
That was one of the things I didn't like was that Khan and Kirk didn't have he same kind of relationhip as they did in Wrath of Khan, but it was really a Spock V Khan thing.
I also liked how they split the Genesis Project Torpedo into two plot devices of Khan's crew and Khan's blood. Much more believable.

Oh and all he tak about the Khan thing being a really important plot twist and that's why they didn't want to reveal it? Bullshit. It's not much of a twist unless you know who Khan is from the previous version. It was all just play. So tell everyone t is Khan because it is not a spoiler. Talia was more of a twist than this and even that didn't warrant a secret name (except for the fact that the fans would know who she was).
This whole secret name thing is just a bullshit fad.
