According to Latino review, Alex Pettyfer and English actress/model Rachel Hurd-Wood, both 23, have read for main roles in
Star Wars: Episode VII. The site claim that they are certain that Hurd-Wood is up for playing Princess Leia (and presumably Han Solo's) daughter, but they haven't been able to determine which character Pettyfer might play. The also stress that there will be many other actors reading for the roles, and we should not take this to mean they have the gig, or are even the front-runners. Star Wars casting announcement dropping from Lucasfilm..maybe even later today. Hurd-Wood's biggest role yet was playing Wendy in the latest screen adaptation of
Peter Pan, while Pettyfer has appeared in the likes of
