The Star Wars Celebrations date back to just before the release of Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace, and since then they've been held in Indianapolis, Ind.; Orlando, Fla.; and overseas, in Japan, England and Germany. This year the galaxy far, far away is coming to Anaheim, and Lucasfilm senior events and fan relations lead Mary Franklin believes that this will set a new attendance record. "It’s going to be really interesting, because we are way ahead with ticket sales from where we usually are this far out,” said Franklin. “I feel safe saying this is going to be the biggest one yet.” Programming for the celebration will include interactive events such as diorama building, Jedi training and Star Wars tattooing, and much more. Of course some type of major announcement or perhaps even some footage from The Force Awakens is expected, but has yet to be confirmed. More at the link below.
