First Look At STAR WARS' Mark Hamill In KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE

It seems like Matthew Vaughn's take on Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons' Kingsman: The Secret Service will be a very loose adaptation as the first image of Mark Hamill (Star Wars) in the movie reveals that he'll be playing a character, and not himself as in the comic book.

Yes, what you see above is indeed how Mark Hamill meets his maker in the pretty amusing opening to The Secret Service comic book. However, the still above confirms that the Star Wars Episode VII actor will indead be playing Doctor Arnold. There do seem to be some similarities between the two (in that he's kidnapped), but even if his character does go out the same way, the fact that he's no longer playing himself indicates a very different tone and perhaps some major changes to the plot. We'll just have to wait and see. Either way, it's good to see Hamill doing something which isn't Luke Skywalker or Joker related, wouldn't you agree? Sound off with your thoughts below.

Starring Colin Firth, Taron Egerton, Michael Caine, Samuel L. Jackson, and Mark Strong, Kingsman: The Secret Service is set to be released on October 24th, 2014.
