First Reactions From Critics Attending The STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Premiere

Official reviews for Star Wars: The Force Awakens remain embargoed until later in the week but we do have some early twitter reactions from critics and stars attending Episode VII's L.A. premiere. By most accounts, there are plenty of surprises in store!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens 30 years after the events of The Return of the Jedi. Luke Skywalker has gone into seclusion and the remnants of the Galactic Empire are alive and well in the new guise of the First Order. Many of the heroes from the original trilogy such as Han Solo, Princess Leia, C-3PO and Chewbacca continue fighting as members of the Resistance. Joining them are new allies, Poe Dameron, Finn, Rey and BB-8. They'll have their hands full against the powerful forces of the First Order which count Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma among its members.


Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in North American theaters on December 18th. The film has run time of 2hrs and 15 minutes.

I'm already expecting to cry at the beginning when the music first hits. Star Wars was my childhood. I only moved on to obsessing over superhero movies because they stopped making Star Wars movies... Looks like I'm starting to revert...

It's almost time, now I just need to wait until Thursday to go see it. Damn I can't believe that it's almost time, I remember it like it was yesterday when Disney bought out Lucasfilms. I can't even imagine how I'm going to react when it comes time, it will probably be a bunch of emotions hitting me all at the same time.

The only bad thing about the Star Wars hype is that all the tickets are sold out and that I probably won't be able to see it for couple/few weeks!

Just go on Twitter. Devin Faraci is the only one in the universe at this point who didn't love the Force Awakens. All the reactions I've read are overwhelmingly positive.

Considering the fact that people love new films more than they deserve, it sounds like it is on par with Return Of The Jedi or Revenge of The Sith. Some idiots are getting caught up in the moment and saying it's better than IV which isn't possible.
